The Regional Compendium of sources of Migration Data in Central America, North America and the Caribbean is an initiative led by the Regional Migration Data Unit (RMDU) at the Regional Office in San José, Costa Rica, which seeks to strengthen the regional evidence base on migration through an extensive mapping of data sources on migration and related issues in the countries of the region, focusing on administrative, census and official survey data collected and published by government entities at the national level.
This resource is aimed at all stakeholders interested in accessing (mainly quantitative) data and information on migration dynamics, including government officials, staff of intergovernmental organizations, academics, researchers and migration experts, civil society, journalists, as well as the general public.
